The larger scale of the diamond gives the piece a more defined presence, while the rose-cut surface diffuses light with a soft, understated glow. The plain 1.3mm band keeps the silhouette clean and minimal, allowing the diamond to remain the focus.

Rose-cut diamonds, first developed in the 15th century, are characterised by their flat base and faceted dome, producing a softer glow than modern brilliant-cut stones.
