A made-to-order ring in 18ct rose gold, set with a 4mm white rose-cut diamond on a hand carved laurel leaf band.
The laurel leaf carving brings a delicate botanical texture to the 2mm band. In ancient times, evergreen laurel was considered a sacred plant. In the classical world, it symbolised strength, glory and prosperity, while also representing poetry, peace and spiritual wisdom.
Rose-cut diamonds are an historic diamond cut dating back to the 1400s. Unlike modern brilliant cuts, they are flat on the bottom with a faceted dome on top, resembling an opening rosebud and giving the stone a softer, more diffused sparkle.
This ring is entirely handmade in London by our experienced mounter, rather than cast, giving every piece its own unique hand-finished character.
Each ring with a diamond larger than 3mm is supplied with independent diamond certification from Gemmology Lab.
