A made-to-order ring with an 18ct rose gold floral carved band and a platinum setting, set with a 3mm white rose-cut diamond.

The rose gold band is hand carved with a floral design, bringing delicate botanical texture to the shank. The platinum cut-down setting gives the diamond a secure, refined and subtly historic finish.

Rose-cut diamonds are an historic diamond cut dating back to the 1400s. Unlike modern brilliant cuts, they are flat on the bottom with a faceted dome on top, resembling an opening rosebud and giving the stone a softer, more diffused sparkle.

The cut-down setting is a traditional method where the small claws are cut from the setting itself, rather than added separately. This creates a strong, hard-wearing mount and adds to the antique-inspired character of the ring.

This ring is entirely handmade in London by our skilled mounter, rather than cast, giving every piece its own unique hand-finished character.
